Better with time

Diana recently wrote about her MOI experience in Utah.

"Last night was such a great meeting. I loved talking about nature and the world we live in. It was such a great conversation that *naturally* led into talking about the creation of the earth .... So many insights and things learned. And fun too!

I had a thought this morning. It’s such a blessing to have a place to be able to gather as women and discuss all sorts of different topics that are also uplifting. I know as women we are all in different seasons of our lives, some of ours overlap and some of ours are in entirely different seasons. And that’s okay. It’s actually refreshing to have a diverse group.

We also aren’t perfect, and life is not a competition nor should it be. I loved talking about being creators in our own lives... I love being able to feel that I don’t have to spend hours of my life trying to master a skill I have no passion for, but rather to seek out and perfect and work on the gifts I *am* blessed with. There is no “right” way to be a mother of influence in our homes. We have all been blessed with our own gifts to bring to the table. But I love having the topics we have each month and hearing from others what those topics mean in their own lives! And I for one, am always learning.

Thank you again ladies for the opportunity to remember that.

Also, I am so grateful for the monthly topics because it gives us an outline to draw upon and the discussions go much deeper than *just* talking about how great science, nature, music, poetry, etc... But rather we really dive deep into those topics and apply them to our lives and hearts.

For anyone who hasn’t attended, come. These meetings have only gotten better and better as time has gone by... "
